Add fal.ai as an image provider (Flux / Stable Diffusion) for portrait & illustration products
I run a webshop selling personalized portraits and illustrations made from customer photos, and I'd like to suggest adding fal.ai as an image provider in Customily.
The problem: With the current Gemini models, I keep hitting content policy errors when generating illustrations of real people. The filter triggers inconsistently: the same type of photo sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. For a portrait product where every order is a real person's photo, that unpredictability makes the workflow unreliable. This isn't a model-version issue; it's a structural limitation across Gemini's content policies.
The request: Please consider adding fal.ai as an additional provider. They host Flux and Stable Diffusion models built specifically for commercial image-to-image use cases, without the facial-recognition restrictions that block portrait generation. Since OpenRouter is already integrated, the technical lift to add another provider may be relatively small.
Why it matters for more sellers than just me: Portraits and illustrations from customer photos are a really common Customily use case (couple portraits, family posters, line art, pet portraits, etc.). Anyone building these products runs into the same wall. A provider without facial restrictions would unblock an entire category of stores, and letting sellers choose their provider (or disable automatic fallback) would give a lot more control over output quality and reliability.
Would love to hear if others run into the same Gemini content-policy issues with portrait work. Thanks for considering!
