Date picker - show selected date only

It would be incredibly helpful to have a date picker (calendar pop-up) as an input option for personalization, allowing customers to select a date instead of typing it manually. Only the selected date should appear in the design—no visible calendar, just the formatted date. This would greatly improve user experience and reduce input errors for some products.

I'm not with Customily but I am curious about your option. Instead of their Calendar view, https://help.customily.com/hc/en-us/articles/35143935153051-… , I was able to create a text field and set the option to the date picker. Just curious why you would want the date picker without the calendar popup and how that would improve the user experience? Without the calendar, its just text formatting in mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy, right?

VO.HN thanks for your input. I make items that incluse specific dates, so I don’t need the calendar. Having a date picker would be straightforward for customers, on the other hand, it limits options too, as dates can be written in many different ways, and languages, not only numerical. I am working with a regular text entry right now and will see what customers say.
