Embed Order Number in Production File Artwork (#️⃣2️⃣7️⃣5️⃣4️⃣)

Please could you add the functionality to embed order details somewhere in the ACTUAL production file image (NOT the production URL), such as the Shopify order number. This would be a game changer for us...! We do our own printing / production, and the order number is our artwork identifier. We print all artwork on a huge film (DTF), so we need an identifier. Currently we add it manually and it is very time consuming..

Heads up! This is just around the corner 👀 Not only will you be able to add the Order Number 🔢 — you'll also be able to include the Print File Name 📁 directly in the Print File to boost fulfillment traceability.

Hi PP, It is in fact possible to do this. You can contact support so you can specify the pattern that you need. The available fields to add to the name of the Production File are: productid, sku, producthandle, productname, ordernumber, customer, variantname, itemindex, itemqty, filenumber, filename.

Julian Ferreiro I just spoke to support, and they said it is not possible. You got me all excited because this process is a major headache for us. Did you not look at my attached screenshot? Look what I circled... Surely this must have been requested before - how do users that do their own production handle this? I know in EU and US there are print providers that handle this, but we are forced to do our own production, and for this we need a small identifier on the actual production file artwork....

PP If you have own production then at some point you must get a RIP. Almost all RIPs offer what you are asking for...
