Feature Request: Support Bulk Upload of SVG Files in Library
Hi Customily Team,
I would like to submit a feature request regarding file management in the Library.
Currently, SVG files are not supported for upload, and bulk upload is limited to raster formats such as PNG and JPEG. This creates significant inefficiencies for workflows that rely heavily on vector assets.
From a practical perspective, SVG is a widely used standard format for vector graphics due to its scalability, small file size, and flexibility for editing. Many design pipelines natively produce SVG files, and converting them to EPS or raster formats introduces several issues, including:
Additional manual effort and time cost
Potential compatibility or rendering inconsistencies
Reduced flexibility for further editing and dynamic customization
Additionally, for merchants managing large volumes of design assets (hundreds or thousands of files), the lack of bulk upload support for vector files significantly slows down asset management and iteration.
Suggested improvements:
Enable direct upload of SVG files in the Library
Support bulk upload functionality for SVG files (similar to PNG/JPEG)
Ensure compatibility of SVG files with existing rendering and personalization systems
This feature would greatly improve efficiency for vector-based product workflows, reduce operational friction, and enhance scalability when managing large catalogs.
We believe this would be a highly valuable improvement for many merchants and hope the team can evaluate its feasibility.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to your feedback.
