Option Based Analytics

Data is incredibly important. If we could actually see the data associated with the options people choose as creators we could better cater a personalization experience and weed out low performing options. It would also help influence decisions for those of that actually create original art. We would have a better idea of what is working and what isn't.

We have the same situation: we want to see which of our options where the best performing, but we cannot, as Shopify does not export the Customily line-items (is that what they are called?) We may need to look at a third-party option (Arigato App might do the trick, but requires extensive learning / setting up...)

Julian Ferreiro: this data can also be used to tailor ads to certain demographics. For exapmle many people use the character art so if they know that the majority of people select dark skin with curly hair the ad creatives and targeting can be used to serve the right ads to the right customers. This information can also be used the personalize emails sent to customers by using the options selected to recommend other product they may like and in the email have an image with those options shown.
