Hello Stepan Palamar! Could you please provide an example of how you envision grouping the options within an Option Set? Considering the implicit grouping established by the show/hide conditions and the desired display order"
Augusto D'Amario: Hey, Augusto! I think the best solution for this is to have a similar structure as we have for the templates with layouts. So the main idea is: group is not a separate option or something like that. Group is a container through which you can do 2 things: organise your options and set display conditions. For example, I need to Show all the options inside the group when Option A swatch is C. So instead of doing this to every single option - I just set it once for a group and it applies to everything.
Stepan Palamar: thank you once again for sharing your vision
Hey there! 👋 We're looking into solutions to meet the needs mentioned in this post. One idea we're considering is to give you a sneak peek of the options set with an interactive preview. Take a look at this simple prototype and see if it's useful: https://9yig.short.gy/LFvgnB Schedule a brief call with us to discuss it by using the following link: https://9yig.short.gy/S7S0NR. Augusto D'Amario: this preview looks very cool. Although personally I'm a bit confused: I voted for this post because we would love to be able to group options into folders. Mainly due to a large number of options, which can get very confusing and difficult to work with. It would be useful: A) because we could group options that are part of a set, thus limiting the vast number of pages inside the option set and B) we could clone entire folders (with multiple sets inside them), without having to do it all manually. Your presentation seems to be like a PREVIEW of the options, no actual grouping?
Yes - allowing us to put OPTIONS into FOLDERS 👌 - our Option Sets get extremely confusing ..
