Subject: Inquiry About Compatibility When OpenAI AI Feature APIs Are Deprecated
Hi Customily Team,We currently use some OpenAI-related AI feature APIs within Customily, so we would like to ask about long-term compatibility.If OpenAI discontinues or changes certain AI feature APIs in the future, but many live products have already been configured using those APIs, will Customily provide an automatic compatibility or migration mechanism?For example, if an API such as gpt-image-1.5 becomes unavailable in the future, and we already have many live products configured with it, it would not be realistic for us to manually update all those product configurations one by one.In this situation, will Customily automatically make the existing configurations compatible with a new available API, or provide a centralized solution to ensure that the AI features on live products are not affected?This is very important to us because it directly affects the stability of live products and the long-term maintenance cost. We would appreciate it if you could share Customily’s mechanism or plan regarding this type of compatibility issue.Also, please do not modify any configurations of my store or products. Any configuration changes must be approved by me first.
