Subject: Suggestion to Support More Commercial Paid API Providers for the Music Component
Hi Customily Team,
We would like to submit a product suggestion regarding the music component.
Currently, when using the Spotify-related component, one of the main issues is that Spotify can be unstable from time to time. In addition, Spotify API Keys do not seem to provide a very clear and stable paid commercial API solution. This creates risks for merchants in real business scenarios, especially when generating previews, print files, and providing a smooth storefront experience for customers.
Therefore, we suggest that Customily’s music component support more third-party music data sources in the future, especially platforms or service providers that offer official paid APIs, clearer commercial usage terms, and better stability.
Our key requests are:
The music component should not rely only on Spotify;
It should support other music data platforms that provide paid APIs;
Priority should be given to platforms with stable commercial usage, clear API documentation, and sustainable service availability;
When Spotify has issues or limitations, merchants should have an alternative data source;
This would help reduce the risk of third-party service instability affecting store conversion and order fulfillment.
This suggestion is very important for merchants selling music-related personalized products. We hope the Customily product team can evaluate this request and consider adding it to the future roadmap.
