Upload image and upload vector should be same upload field

Lets say you have a product where customers upload their logo. They do not know and do not care if the logo is image or vector. With current solution we need to add an option for customer to first select if they have image or vector, educate them what each is, and then provide them with an upload field. Why not have one upload field and customily figures out if is image or vector based on the uploaded extension. This will increase conversion rates.

This feature is a must-have!!!! It gives brands the ability to use a high-quality EPS or PDF file, and everyone else the ability to upload JPEG or PNG files, eliminating confusion.

This feature combined with a vectorisation function would be great! A user would be able to upload any image format and be presented with an option to vectorise in 1 or 2 colours, this would reduce the overall file size, enable the image to be scaled infinitely, introduce easy re-colourisation and remove compression artefacts that users are usually unaware of. This feature is something I have seen many example of online and lead to more sales of products that utilise logo's or simple graphics especially when combined with pattern making tools.

100%! Make it simple, one button, all types of attachments, confirm the upload was successful. Simplicity for the user on the front end and back end setup efficiencies are the type of features needed. AI generated images and print on demand vendors are not on that list...

Agreed! The UX is not a good one for uploads as form input doesn't even really indicated that a file has been uploaded, let alone the name and format of it.
